Firefighter turns himself to police over alleged assault on couple

A man -- reportedly a firefighter -- was arrested at the Mong Kok Police Station over alleged assault of a couple at a shopping mall after reporting the case to the police.

Videos circulating online appear to show a man wear a green striped shirt shoving a couple at a mall in Mong Kok.

Sources say the man, accompanied by his wife, headed to the police station last night.

He said he suspected that the male victim deliberately bumped into him.

Police have provisionally classified the case as common assault.
