He Lifeng calls for Party building in China's financial system

Vice Premier He Lifeng, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party Central Committee, stresses Party building in China's financial system.

In a meeting on Thursday, He called for efforts to advance key financial work in the second half of the year with a stronger sense of responsibility and urgency, as well as to prevent and defuse financial risks and strengthen financial regulation.

He said these are needed to provide strong financial support for meeting this year's economic targets and ensuring a good start to the 15th Five-Year-Plan.
