Parents of baby Danny arrested on suspicion of neglect

He had a fever since Sunday and was subsequently hospitalised. The fever has subsided.

Danny's father says the Social Welfare Department recently held a professional case meeting and determined the situation was high-risk and constituted negligence.

Recommendations have been made for Danny to remain in the shelter.

The couple hopes to take Danny home under the observation of the Social Welfare Department.
