US and Iran are set to resume technical talks in Switzerland amid clashing remarks on nuclear inspections.

US President Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday that Iran has "fully and completely" agreed to allow United Nations' International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) nuclear inspections long into the future infinitely.

Trump dismissed claims that Iran has not scheduled visits for the IAEA inspectors, saying Iran had already agreed to the arrangement.

He did not offer a specific timeline for when the IAEA inspectors would "be on the ground", saying the inspectors would go to Iran "at the appropriate time" with "no rush".

On the same day, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said that Iran has no plan to allow IAEA inspectors to visit nuclear sites targeted during the recent conflict.
