US President Donald Trump insisted Tuesday that Iran agreed to UN watchdog inspections of its nuclear sites but said there is "no rush."
The president told reporters that if Iran had not agreed to the inspections, he would cut off talks immediately.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, where the US-Iran talks took place, said that the signing of the deal was "a matter of great happiness."
He vowed that his country would continue to play its role in ensuring peace in the region.

CNN and other news organisations are reporting that a ransom note revealed Nancy Guthrie, the mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie, had died.
The note said those who kidnapped Nancy Guthrie did not mean to kill her, but she died shortly after her disappearance.

Eight protesters were sentenced Tuesday to decades in federal prison over a shooting outside a Texas immigration detention center.
The shooting wounded a police officer and prosecutors called the incident an act of terrorism.
