Dragon boat races are held on Dragon Boat Festival

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, and dragon boat races are held in many districts.

The races started at 8:00 AM on the Shing Mun River in Sha Tin. The competitors paddled powerfully to the rhythm of the drums.

A total of 33 dragon boat races will be held on the Shing Mun River throughout the day, including the 500-meter medium dragon boat race, and the 300-meter small dragon boat race.

In the phoenix boat races for women, attracting more than 100 teams in total.

The banks of the Shing Mun River attracted many spectators. The weather was intermittently sunny and rainy in the morning, and many spectators had to use umbrellas to watch the races.
