The Education Bureau has unveiled the "Blueprint for Digital Education Development in Primary and Secondary Schools."
The plan focuses on four key areas: enhancing students' digital literacy, strengthening teacher professional training, improving infrastructure, and promoting cross-sector collaboration.
It also outlines ten implementation strategies, including establishing a structured learning framework to systematically train students in digital knowledge, and introducing an AI + curriculum across primary and secondary schools.
Teachers will be required to complete no fewer than 30 hours of digital education training within each three-year professional development cycle.
The Education Bureau will also provide at least 50,000 training places annually for professional development in digital education.
