The Centre for Health Protection noted the 13 individuals who had prior contact with the two-year-old boy who tested positive for the avian flu in Sha tin came back with negative test results.
The CHP believes the likelihood of an avian flu outbreak in the city remains low.
The boy was confirmed to have been infected by the H9N2 strain of the virus, with health authorities stressing that there is no contagious risk at the moment.
This as Hong Kong only recorded 11 similar cases over the past 27 years.
The CHP collected samples from 17 locations visited by the boy including his residence, a park and the Wo Che Market in Sha Tin, with 15 of them returning with negative results.
Two of them are still under review by health authorities.
