Hop On Management Company says that it has been allocating resources to facilitate a homeowner meeting for Wang Fuk Court residents as soon as possible. This comes after the Lands Tribunal rejected Hop On's application for postponing the meeting earlier this month.
In a statement, the government's appointed administrator says its legal team is reviewing the relevant legal observations in the Lands Tribunal's judgement to ensure subsequent work proceeds is in full compliance with the law.
Hop On attempted to apply for a meeting extension by citing practical difficulties, including the challenge of finding a large venue to hold more than 1,000 people.
Saturday was the deadline for Hop On to convene the owners' meeting under the Buildings Management Ordinance.
