Mother reports alleged theft of $380k from 13-yo daughter to police

A resident of Sheung Tak Estate in Tseung Kwan O reports that her 380,000 dollars in cash was stolen.

Police arrested her 13-year-old daughter.

The 47 year-old reports that she suspected her daughter stole the significant amount in cash from a safe in her room.

Following preliminary investigations, police arrested the girl on suspicion of theft.

It is understood that the child stole the money to "tip" social media personalities on a mainland live-streaming platform. The girl is currently being detained for investigation.
