Rescuers search a collapsed market structure in the Philippines city of General Santos, following Monday's earthquake.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake, which rocked the southern Philippines has killed at least 37 people injured more than 200.
It is the strongest quake to this the archipelago this year.
According to the office of Civil Defense, the fatalities are caused by landslides, drowning and injuries sustained from falling debris.
It is reported that more than 850,000 households experienced power interruption, and at least 20,000 people displaced.
