Authorities capture a black bear in Japan days after it was seen roaming the city of Utsunomiya.

Residents reported more than 20 sightings over the weekend near homes and schools in the town with half-million residents.
While those in Utsunomiya can breathe a sigh of relief, ones living in Fukushima are still on high alert as authorities continue to search for a "highly intelligent bear" that was caught chasing residents.
Japan reached a record number of bear attacks in 2025, with 13 victims killed and another 225 sustaining injuries.
