President Xi to travel to North Korea next week

President Xi Jinping will travel to North Korea next week in what will be his first visit in nearly 7 years.
The state visit will take place next Monday to Tuesday, and will come just weeks after Xi hosted US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in quick succession.
Xi and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met in Beijing last September, and pledged mutual support and enhanced cooperation.
Xi's last overseas trip was to South Korea last fall for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit.
