23 people injured in three-vehicle collision on Fanling Highway

A three-vehicle collision occurred on Fanling Highway, injuring at least 23 people. The affected section of the road heading towards Kowloon was temporarily closed.

The accident involved a bus, a minibus, and a truck. The minibus's front was severely damaged.

The minibus driver was initially trapped but was later rescued by firefighters.

As for the Citybus involved, passengers disembarked and waited on the roadside. Citybus subsequently arranged for another bus to pick them up.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 AM. Police said the minibus was traveling along Fanling Highway towards Kowloon when it collided with a truck, which then struck the bus in front of it.

The accident resulted in at least 23 injuries, including 18 minibus passengers and the driver, and 2 bus passengers, all sustaining minor injuries.
