Govt announces reshuffle of senior officials which includes transfer of Director of Information Services

The Government has announced a number of senior appointments.

Director of Information Services Apollonia Liu Lee Ho-kei will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for Security on March 30.

Mrs Liu joined the Administrative Service in 1990 and

has served in the former Central Policy Unit and as Deputy Secretary for Security.

Maggie Wong Siu-chu, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, will take up the post of Permanent Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs on February 12.

The posts of Director of Information Services, and the Director of Food and Enviromental Hygiene are now being openly recruited.

Both positions have a monthly salary of over 280,000 dollars and will be on three year contracts.
