The Sai Ying Pun community living room is open, offering space and support for subdivided flat tenants.

Located in a commercial building on Wilmer Street, the 2,000 square-foot facility is more than just a room.

It is kitted out with amenities that many shoebox residents lack at home, including a dinning hall, a shared kitchen, a laundary, shower rooms and a piano practice room.

The hub is open 24/7 and will run for three years.
