Trump hails 'greatest board ever assembled" for post-Gaza plans

President Donald Trump promoted his Board of Peace as "the greatest board ever assembled" before departing the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The board will oversee the development of post-war Gaza after two years of Israeli bombing destroying 90 percent of the enclave. Among those invited are Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Because we want everybody. We want all nations, we want to all nations where people have control, people have power, where we're never going to have a problem.

"This is the greatest board ever assembled. And everybody wants to be on it. But yeah, I have some controversial people on it, but these are people that get the job done. These are people that have tremendous influence. If I put all babies on the board, it wouldn't be very much.

"I think the Board of Peace will be the most prestigious board ever, and it's going to get a lot of work done that the United Nations should have done."

Also on the board are former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
