2 workers stranded on malfunctioned gondola at the Belcher's

Two workers were stranded mid-air after a gondola malfunctioned outside a residental building, the Belcher's in Sai Wan.

A firefigher abseiled down to the gondola for rescue.

The police received a report at about 3 p.m. that two workers were trapped on a tilted gondola.

Firemen saved one worker at around 4 p.m.

Another worker was also rescued half hour later.
