Education Bureau cancels exchange trip to Japan

The Education Bureau has cancelled an exchange trip to Japan. The trip was under the programme known as "Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths."

The bureau said the decision was made after it noticed a greater number of assault cases against Chinese nationals in Japan.

It says on the Education Bureau's website that the programme aims to deepen Hong Kong students' understanding of Japan.
