HK men's foil fencing team clinches gold at National Games

At Kai Tak, Hong Kong's men's foil squad clinched the city's fencing team's first gold at the National Games as they powered their way into the final, facing off Fujian -- led by standouts Edgar Cheung Ka-long and Ryan Choi.

Fresh off his men's foil bronze, Hong Kong's star fencer Edgar Cheung took to the foil team event.

The two-time Olympic champion, alongside his teammates -- setting sights on clinching his first National Games gold.

Following fierce exchanges, Hong Kong's foil squad thumped Fujian 45-34.

The victory also brought the city's gold medal tally to nine at the national tournament.
