Teacher shot by child, 6, awarded $10 million

In the U.S., a Virginia teacher is awarded ten million U.S. dollars in damages after she was shot in her classroom by a six-year-old student who brought a gun to school.

Abby Zwerner accused administrators of ignoring warnings ahead of the incident in 2023. Zwerner should be paid by a state insurance pool.
