67yo woman taken to hospital amid fire in Tin Shui Wai

A 67-year-old woman has been sent to the hospital in a coma after a fire erupted at a unit at Kingswood Villas in Tin Shui Wai. About 100 residents were evacuated amid the blaze. Police received a report at around 5:40pm over the case in which miscellaneous items allegedly caught fire.

Upon arriving the scene, firefighters found a 67-year-old woman who sustained burns to her hands and respiratory tract. She was unconscious while being sent to Tuen Mun Hospital. Preliminary police probes suggest incense in the unit accidentally lit up the miscellaneous items, causing the blaze.
