Yuen Long councillor given 2.5 jail term for sex with 13yo girl

Yuen Long District Councillor Sei Chun-hing has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison at the District Court this morning after being convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under the age of 16.

The court heard that the 39-year-old defendant met the victim in 2008 when she was 11 years old while he was working as a drama instructor assistant. Sei and the primary school student developed a romantic relationship and engaged in sexual activity on March 14, 2011 when the victim was 13 years old.

Sei's another charge of indecent assault was found not guilty.
