Central Kowloon Bypass to commence operation Dec 6 with $8 toll fee

An eight-dollar toll fee has been confirmed for the Central Kowloon Bypass.

The government says the fee will be in effect December 6, the same

day the bypass fully commences operation.

The fee applies to all types of vehicles.

The Transport and Logistics Bureau

said it has taken afforability into consideration when setting the rate

and hopes the new bypass will ease congestion on major roads.
