Alleged animal cruelty involving a boy

Police are investigating a suspected case of animal cruelty involving a boy who allegedly assaulted a bird.

An online video circulating online shows a young boy who appears to have tied a string around a bird and dragged it along the ground. The bird showed no signs of movement.

It is understood that police received a report over the online video. Police are looking into the incident, and the case has been referred to the Tuen Mun District Crime Squad for follow-up.
