Delegates walk out during Netanyahu UN speech

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed genocide allegations in Gaza, calling them "the greatest lie of the century," during his address Thursday at the United Nations General Assembly.

He pointed to the efforts Israel has made to ensure the safety of Palestinian civilians while accusing Hamas of using them as "human shields."

In the speech, Netanyahu called Turkey the "super spreader of anti-Semitic lies" and added that several foreign countries "spent untold billions to spread lies" about Israel through social media.

Many delegates were seen walking out of the UNGA assembly hall on Thursday after Netanyahu took the stage to deliver his address.

Israeli delegates were seen standing up and clapping for Netanyahu as many members were seen walking out of the venue.
