Three injured in car crash; police suspect driver of drug driving

Three people have been injured in a traffic accident involving a driver suspected of operating a vehicle under the influence of illicit drugs. Police arrest a 38-year old in connection to the incident.

A truck and a van were severely damaged after the accident happened on Pok Fu Lam Road Saturday afternoon. The truck's windscreen was shattered, while the van's airbag popped out.

A box truck driver was arrested after he failed police's drug test.

The police received reports at around 2pm Saturday, saying the box truck was heading to Aberdeen direction when the vehicle seemed to have lost control and crashed into the van. The van then collided with the white truck.

Three sustained injuries with two sent to hospital for treatment.
