Long March rocket explodes a minute after lifting off

A Long March 7A rocket exploded soon after lifting off from Hainan Island. A giant fireball was recorded by onlookers as the rocket exploded mid-air. The Long March rocket lifted off earlier this evening from Wenchang, Hainan Island.

It was suspected of experiencing some technical anomalies before exploding just a minute into its flight.

Authorites have yet to issue an announcement on the incident.
