Mainland's contingency measures to face Typhoon Dolphin

The National Meteorological Center forecasts tropical cyclone Dolphin to make landfall between Zhejiang and Fujian on Sunday or Monday.

Local authorities in Zhejiang have activated a Level-III typhoon emergency response. Police enhance their patrolling on the sea, urging tourists and coastal residents to leave the area.

The massive storm may go west or take a northerly turn after it lands, and even inland provinces are taking precautious against possible huge rainstorms which could cause serious flooding.
