A wild boar injures 4 in Aichi Prefecture

A wild boar attacked two men outside a food service company in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture. The pair tried to drive the boar away with, and described the animal was highly aggressive.

The wild boar later attacked a man riding a bicycle at a nearby intersection before injuring another person at a car park.

The four victims reportedly suffered injures to their hands, knees and other parts of their bodies.

The boar was subsequently captured and killed.

The city government urged residents not to feed wild boars. If they encounter one, they should leave the area immediately and avoid provoking the animal.
