Burst water main in Wan Chai fixed

The Water Supplies Department has resumed fresh water service in Wan Chai after a pipe burst on Saturday morning.
The burst, which involved a 250-millimetre diameter water main, happened on Tin Lok Lane near Wan Chai at around 6 am. Water mixed with sand and rock gush onto the road and street.
Authorities deployed at least two water trucks and four water tanks to provide temporary fresh water supply to nearby residents and shops.
