Migration nursery for birds in Tibet

In Ali Prefecture, Tibet, known as the "roof of the roof of the world", large numbers of migratory birds nest on Jianima Bird Island.

Years of strengthened ecological protection have led to a more than 30 percent increase in the number of migratory birds, turning the once barren island into a "migration nursery."
