Trainee doctor suspected of using X-ray machine on herself

A trainee doctor was earlier suspected of using an X-ray machine on herself at a public hospital.

This as sources say the Hospital Authority found that the doctor was also involved in accessing patient data with another person's account without authorisation at Caritas Medical Centre.

Health authorities have already alerted the police of the incident.The case originated with a female trainee doctor posting an image on social media of her seemingly using an X-ray machine on herself at Caritas Medical Centre.

The HA subsequently discovered another doctor was involved with the hospital having taken disciplinary action against the pair.

It was later discovered that the woman once asked her boyfriend to perform an endoscopy for patients while she was a trainee working at Ruttonjee Hospital.

The latest findings indicated the trainee doctor used her boyfriend's account to access patient data in Tuen Mun Hospital.
