Transport chief Mable Chan said operation of Airport’s Terminal 2 was smooth

Secretary for Transport and Logistics Mable Chan inspected the operation of Terminal 2 at the airport this morning.

Chan, together with an airline and the Airport Authority's management inspected the airline check-in counters, and interacted with passengers.

Hong Kong Express has relocated its check-in counters to Terminal 2 starting today. Chan said the terminal has been operating smoothly since it officially opened on the 27th of last month.

Chan said:

“The last airline moved in today, and the earliest flight took off around 5 pm. All measures and support are fully prepared. I just had the opportunity to talk to several groups of passengers and saw that their self-service check-in and manual check-in facilities were very smooth.”
