A 39 year old non-swimmer from Guangxi survived an incredible 7 days and 6 nights at sea, after falling into the water at the coast of Hainan.
The man surnamed Qin fell into the sea on May 27 while taking a walk by the sea.
He was found floating in the nearshore waters off Chengmai on Tuesday, and was rescued by two local fishermen.
With no life jacket and unable to swim in the ocean, Qin drifted for nearly a week by holding onto a buoy and eating more than 70 small crabs to survive.
Qin was admitted to the ICU with severe dehydration and skin burns, but he has since been moved to a regular ward.
