Lands Tribunal dismisses Hop On's bid of postponing owners' meeting

The Lands Tribunal has rejected Hop On Management's bid to extend a deadline for holding a homeowner meeting. Hop On is the government appointed administrator for Tai Po Wang Fuk Court after the November fire.

In its ruling, the Lands Tribunal says the court has no jurisdiction to make such a decision under the Buildings Management Ordinance.

Hop On earlier applied to the tribunal to delay the June 13th deadline for holding an owners' meeting, saying it would be challenging for them to secure a venue for more than 1,000 people.
