Shenzhou 21 astronauts return

Shenzhou 21 astronauts have returned to Earth after spending nearly seven months at the Tianggong space station.

At 2:44 p.m., the returned capsule of the Shenzhou 22 spaceship, carrying Zhang Lu, Wu Fei and Zhang Hongzhang, undocked from the space station combination.

At around 8:11 p.m., the capsule touched down at the Dongfeng landing site. A group of medical staff went inside the capsule to inspect.

After about 30 minutes, the mission commander Zhang Lu came out first, followed by China's youngest astronaut, Wu Fei, and payload specialist Zhang Hongzhang.
