Two people in critical condition after Cheung Sha Wan fire

Two people remain in critical condition after a fire in Cheung Sha Wan Fish Wholesale Market yesterday.

Several charred vehicles remain parked near the arson site. The incident took place at around 3 p.m. on Friday when the police received reports of six trucks and a private car

engulfed in flames, with smoke in the area reaching several floors in height.

Investigations indicated the site was an illegal fuelling station.

Sources said the incident happened when two trucks were fuelling a private car at the time when the fuel injector suddenly caught on fire and ultimately resulting in an explosion.
