Hong Kong's economy grew 3.5 percent last year.
This as the Census and Statistics Department released advanced estimates of the city's Gross Domestic Product for the fourth quarter and the whole year of 2025.
According to advance estimates, the city's GDP increased by 3.5 percent in 2025 over 2024.
In the fourth quarter of 2025 GDP increased by 3.8 percent compared with the increase of 3.7 percent in the third quarter.
Looking ahead, the government said the city's economy is expected to maintain good momentum in 2026.
This, due to sustained moderate expansion of the global economy, coupled with improving domestic consumer and business sentiment.
