HK passports holders will be able to travel Azerbaijan 3 times visa-free in a year

Holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) passports will be able to travel to Azerbaijan three times visa-free within one year, starting from next month, with each stay not exceeding 30 days.

An Immigration Department spokesperson said that Azerbaijan is a country along the Belt and Road Initiative. Under this initiative, the visa-free arrangement brings convenience to HKSAR passport holders and helps strengthen tourism, cultural, and economic ties between the two places.

Including Azerbaijan, a total of 175 countries and regions now grant visa-free or visa-on-arrival privileges to HKSAR passport holders.
