Wang Yi meets Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov

In Beijing, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The meeting took place at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

Wang Yi stated that both nations should maintain exchanges at all levels, guided by the Belt and Road Initiative.

He said the world has entered a new era of turbulence and transformation, so members of the Global South should work together to practice multilateralism.

Bayramov said Azerbaijan adheres to the "One China" principle.

He also expressed a desire to expand cooperation in areas such as trade and investment.
