A fire at a popular night club in India's Goa state has killed at least 23 people, officials say.
The blaze started just after midnight in the party-hub of Arpora in North Goa.
Goa's chief minister Pramod Sawant said most of the dead were the club's kitchen workers, as well as three or four tourists.
A gas cylinder is reported as causing the fire, according to local police.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a social media post called the incident "deeply saddening." And that the government "is providing all possible assistance to those affected."
